I recently made up three different wristlets for a special order. It is for a wedding and the bride is wearing a mauve dress with silver accessories. I found a beautiful silvery mauve duponi silk that I used. I made up three for her to choose from. I am not sure as of yet which one she picked. The wedding is on Friday evening. Congratulations to them both.

Don't forget I do custom orders.

Yesterday I participated in "An Afternoon in June," which was a charity lunch and sale that benefited Southlake Hospital's Cancer Program. It was a great day with a fashion show, vendor sale, wine bar and lunch.
I don't have any other summer shows booked, I will soon begin my winter season sewing for the Christmas One of A Kind Sale.

I have been busy working on some new bags for a show I am in this Sunday that supports Southlake Hospital's new Regional Cancer program. I have also been making button rings as seen above which I will have at the show for the first time. I have made all different kinds using new and vintage buttons. Here is the black rose on my old, veiny hands!

I am off to see Sex and the City with the neighbourhood gals tonight, I think I will accessorize with my flower ring and one of my flower bags in homage to Carrie! Then out for a cosmo after.

I hosted a party for my parent's 50th Anniversary, the weather was great, the food was amazing, the crowd of 65 had a great time. It was a success!

The cake was beautiful!

The happy couple cutting the cake! It was also a successful party for Krave, I ended up selling 15 bags!

Yesterday, I was a guest on the local cable tv show. I had about 8 minutes where I talked about my business and showed my bags. It was very exciting. Once I get the dvd of my segment I will post it here on my blog.

Last night my girlfriend, Jen and I went to see George Thorogood. Last time we saw him was at Ted Reeves Arena about 30 years ago - ugh! He was awesome. He still has the moves and sounds just as great!

Can you believe this weather? Today is going to be 34 degrees in TO and it's only May. The gardens are done and the flowers are blooming. It's so great when the nice weather arrives.

Enjoy your day! It's hard to get any sewing done when it is so beautiful out.

I made my famous Thai Chicken Pizza last night. It is a family favourite around here. Here is the recipe for one, but you might need two:

1 pizza dough

1 cup Peanut Sauce (I use PC's Memories of Szechwan, Spicy Peanut Satay Sauce)

1 tbsp smooth peanut butter

mozzerella cheese

cooked chicken

2 green onions, sliced

Prepare dough, mix peanut sauce with peanut butter and spread over dough (use as much as you like), just like you would a sauce. Load on chicken, green onions and cheese. Bake in 425 degree oven until pizza is done.

Then sprinkle the following toppings on and enjoy!!

Topping (give or take measurements):

shredded carrot- 1/4 cup

bean sprouts - handful

chopped peanuts 2tbsp

chopped cilantro- 1 tbsp

1/4 lime - squeeze juice over pizza (optional)
